"The dinner buffet has so many delicious options and such high quality food that you should make it a priority to eat there. The hotel is definitely of the era in which it was built but I think that adds charm. The hotel does provide a free shuttle bus to the sapporo train station. If I come back to sapporo I highly expect to stay there again."

The second night I was satisfied because the food I ordered was what I ordered. The first night's food was cheaper than what I paid for and there was no apology or refund from anyone. "It was a quick stop for us so we didn't mind a traditional Japanese business hotel. Room size was decent while furniture outdated. Mattress was not super comfortable but nothing too much beyond our expectation. Check-in staff speak little English but were generally helpful. Parking lot is narrow, but again all within our expectations. Area is vibrant with a good range of restaurant options and very walkable. Value for the price."
