"Decent enough place to stay. Showing it's age in places but overall clean and tidy. Staff were friendly. Easy to check in, and I set off early the following morning - leaving the keys in the box in the hallway. Very convenient for the town centre and seafront if you don't mind a few minutes walk. Variety of restaurants nearby, even before you reach the town centre."

"It needs a good refurbishment carpets worn and patched up in our room double bed was so uncomfortable could feel the springs single bed ok. "Lovely guest house, I had a very comfortable, large room. Although no sea view! The bathroom was a bit too small though, especially the shower cubicle. The bed was very high (needed a stepladder!) but comfortable. The room really needs a splash of colour as it was bland in its decor. Breakfast was very good and the dining room itself very beautiful with a huge log fire. The staff were exceedingly helpful, friendly and had lots of local knowledge. I'd stay there again"
