From the rainbow crossing to the club that once hosted Nirvana, Capitol Hill is all sorts of cool.

Home to a thriving LGBT community and nightlife that’s just nuts, Capitol Hill also has some of the hugest mansions you’ve ever seen—no joke, there’s a section called “Millionaire’s Row”. Make sure to arrive hungry when you visit Capitol Hill because there’s so much to eat that you’ll need your stretchy pants. You’ll also have a tough time choosing between beer and coffee in Capitol Hill, because you’ll find a pub or coffee shop on every corner. Pro tip: They’re all fantastic.
