"Its a beautiful property. We couldn't get the front door opened, but hosts where helpful getting us inside. Amazing views from the back patios. Kitchen is well stocked and labled with things needed for cooking meals. The entertaining spaces are a big win with this property. All ages where happy staying here. "

"We really enjoyed our time here, especially the pool in the El Cajon heat. Plenty of seating and beds. Wasn't able to find any pool towels though, so we did have to do laundry for bath towels. The fridge had bottled water for us. The grill was great but dishwasher doesn't work. Can openers didn’t work. Primary shower needs a shower cady. The only tv is in the living room. Overall our stay was great."

"Unfortunately, our family was never able to stay as the host let us know the day of our arrival that they could not accommodate our stay due to a booking error. While it was difficult to find another place last minute, we were offered a full refund by the host and found lodging elsewhere. However, we confirmed that we wanted the refund and the host ghosted us. We literally never heard from them again and we are still waiting for our refund. I’m not sure if this is a scam or not, but we felt it was important to alert others to our experience as we are out a significant amount of money while we wait for Vrbo and the host to “figure things out.” Very unprofessional and a bummer situation that I hope never happens to anyone else. 😞"

"We reserved this house for 3 nights as part of a high school friends reunion. On the day of check-in, I hadn't received any communication about checking in. I messaged the host, who responded by noon and gave instructions. With check-in time at 2pm, that's cutting it a little close, especially when some people were traveling from the east coast. When we arrived, the property was clean and exactly what we wanted: a large house with plenty of bedrooms and a big communal space. The location isn't great. It's right next to a freeway and "Ghetto-adjacent". It does have a Starbucks and Walmart right down the street which redeems it somewhat. Soon into our stay, we noticed a couple of major issues. The first that was the main bathroom's shower leaked from underneath out onto the rest of the bathroom floor. The second was that the front door electronic code lock was installed incorrectly. The code was needed to lock the door but simply pushing the top button, which illuminates the keypad, was enough to unlock it. We ended up barricading the door with the couches at night and took a chance when we left for the day. On the last day of our visit, the plumbing issue exploded. Both bathrooms flooded, both showers had several inches of standing water, and the toilets were all backed up and unusable. We had to drive to Starbucks to use their bathroom. We messaged the host about it and checked out a couple hours later. Would have been a 4 star review if not for the big issues."
