"Our room was basically made out of wood, and the balcony looked over the mountains. We loved that! We had a beautiful sunset. There was an excellent restaurant within walking distance with gluten free options. The breakfast was large and tasty. Couldn't ask for anything more."

"Upon arriving at Sunset Paradise Hotel the three of us were greeted with wine, chocolate and robes for the jacuzzi. The house was modern with new appliances and very clean. The bedrooms were comfortable. The view from the second floor is stunning and we especially enjoyed the rainbow in the morning. Overall would highly recommend. "

"This a unique experience. Staff was very helpful and their breakfast which we had one morning was delicious. We even managed to get Italian food delivered (easier with USD cash). The view is unbelievable and we definitely enjoyed as a family with 2 teenagers. Note that like all roads in Costa Rica, always better with a 4WD car. We had a simple 4x4 SUV and we had no issue driving (slowly) the 1.5km or so to get to the property even under set season rain. Again, great experience if you are looking...

"A special place - beautiful and in a beautiful setting. The property managers also thought of all the little things, and the welcome pack (some food starters, etc.) was a really thoughtful touch, given the place is a bit away from the action in Santa Elena. We really enjoyed our stay."
