"We had an amazing stay at this hotel. We arrived super early to see if we could have luggage storage but surprised to be able to check in early so big bonus and thanks. Walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants. Bus stop within 2 minutes of hotel (we had a car so didn’t use but considered taking into Sintra to avoid hunting for parking). They do offer breakfast (we didn’t use) and have a bar/restaurant available. The only negative was they didn’t have a small fridge or microwave in room...

"We booked for 2 nights and ended booking for another 2 nights. Great breakfast, parking is a plus, and 5 min walk to the train station, 15-20 min to the main square of sentra. The hotel is old, very basic but it was clean, a good home base to visit sentra and lisbon. "

"We could not have picked a better hotel from which to explore the idyllic area in and around Sintra. The hotel simply oozes charm, thanks to its venerable age and the high quality of its staff. Staying here is like staying in a hotel from a bygone age. The included breakfast was delicious and abundant. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay here and could have easily stayed longer. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again should we return to the area."

"Wonderful location in the heart of Sintra with easy access to the trail to the Castle and Palace. The room was one of the nicest we stayed in during our trip to Portugal. Perfect! We Uber'd and would not recommend bringing a rental car to Sintra. "
