"We could not have picked a better hotel from which to explore the idyllic area in and around Sintra. The hotel simply oozes charm, thanks to its venerable age and the high quality of its staff. Staying here is like staying in a hotel from a bygone age. The included breakfast was delicious and abundant. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay here and could have easily stayed longer. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again should we return to the area."

"“Wow!” What can we say, we had a wonderful experience in this quaint apartment right in the middle of the Old Historic Unesco Centre. We were met by Miguel on arrival and he assisted us getting to the apartment as no vehicles are allowed in the Historic Centre. Miguel spent a fair amount of time explaining the ins and outs of the apartment and reviewed the many things to see and do in Sintra and surrounding area. "We had a wonderful week at the house. Rosa was very helpful and friendly with very good English. The house was well stocked with essentials and provided a lovely welcome basket. Air con was good and heated pool very welcome with a nice private space for eating outside and BBQ. The house is a short walk to the village which has a number of good restaurants and shops as well as the beach. The best beaches in this part of Portugal, Praia da Adraga and Praia Ursa are close by, whilst the palaces...

"A localização da casa é optima, e permite bons passeios a pé. A casa propriamente dita é fraca, problemas de canalização na cozinha e não tem máquina de lavar a louça o que dificultou um lava louças entupido… para uma família é pouco prática."
