"Good clean property, nice owners. One advantage is that the owners are on property so there is no issue with late arrival. Would stay again if in the area. The only suggestion I'd have is to give better instructions on driving to the property, google takes you to a slightly off location. "

"The hotel is charming and centrally located. Sintra is a beautiful city with many enchanting palaces to see. The city is very walkable. In Sintra, the Uber and taxi fares' costs were reasonable. Ella, our hotel receptionist, gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations. The buffet breakfasts were delicious. I highly recommend the Sintra Boutique Hotel if you are visiting Sintra, Portugal."

"When you stay at a castle or palace in Europe, you want to feel the history. This palace gives you a great feel! Room is wonderfully comfortable, and after you arrive and clean up, you can stroll the well-apointed and preserved rooms and hallways. We did not try the restaurant for dinner as we wanted to try places in town, but the breakfast was stellar. "There is little or nothing to say about the stay, since we didnt get to stay. It was a busted couple of days. It is largely my fault for not doing my homework. First I should of asked was there parking available near or on the porperty. As it turns out it was no. This particular time the town was full and the parking is on a public road two streets over on a one way drive. The thing to do to visit Sintra is to book a hotel in Lisbon and take the train or bus to the town. "
