"Overall this was a basic hostel that worked for me to stay in one night in order to catch a morning flight to the airport. The bed was very comfortable, clean and the staff were helpful. I only know Spanish and English so trying to communicate in Portuguese was a bit tricky but we managed okay. I was surprised by how noisy the traffic was around the hostel. "I really enjoyed my stay at Santuario Getsemaní Hostel. The mixed dorms were the most private I have experiances yet with walls on behind you and to either side and an adjustable blind at the front. Each bed has a small lock box inside for valuables, shelves and your own plug socket and light, it felt more like a room than being in a mixed dorm honestly. The room had an AC and fan as well which made my nights very comfortable. Lucia, Mir, Cat and William were very friendly and helped me out...
