"We loved the location 😊 it was all clean and welcoming. Loved the family room but sadly wasnt told about it which would of been nice at.check in. We also would of loved some cultery and plates as we were traveling with a little one, you provided it apon request which was nice. The heat pump in our room needed filters cleaned, when we put it on heating it smelt horrible. "

"Friendly, courteous staff. Loved the free stuff. 15 min walk from airport so no need for ride or bus. Comfortable bed. Nice hangout area with ample space and games. Front desk lent me a charger. I would definitely stay again or another Lylo location. Highly recommend for the budget conscious. "

"Wow there are so many wonderful things to say about Holiday Inn Express and Suites Queenstown. We stayed there in May 2023 for 7 nights and here are the highlights: * We had a corner suite on the top floor which had a panoramic window and the snow-capped mountain views from both windows was spectacular! Aside from the stunning views at all times, the room was also clean. * The downstairs dining / lounge area near the lobby was large and great and a beautiful space! There were 2 fireplaces on either side - one had these 2 tall comfy armchairs and the other had more seating. Many of the tables had power to charge devices and you could hang in this downstairs area day or night, rather than just your room. After a long day trip to Milford Sound it was so convenient to just sit in one of the armchairs in front of the fireplace with a hot meal, watching sport. * Our stay included buffet breakfast which was nice and the staff were friendly. * The location of the hotel was convenient as it was a relatively short downhill walk to the centre of town and you soon got used to the uphill walk back to the hotel. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! On our return back to Queenstown a week later we stayed elsewhere in a different part of town, but it just wasn't as lovely as the Holiday Inn. "

"We booked this “aparthotel” because it included a washer/dryer and small kitchen - which was very convenient after a week of trekking. We would recommend this place if you have a car (limited parking available) and/or don’t mind walking about 15 min to shops and restaurants. The Remarkables area is pretty close to the airport but somewhat remote from downtown Queenstown, which we didn’t mind as we had already stayed in the busy CBD before we began our trek. Cell service outside of the hotel WiFi is also pretty limited. "
