Cozy home
Cute 2BR in an end street. My family and I loved exploring the neighborhood in the winter. The natural landscape provided for a lot of snow play. Strangely enough the home didn’t have soap, shampoo or laundry detergent. Not a big deal, but it was inconvenient. Overall we’d stay here again, and bring our own soap.

Dated but cozy
We really enjoyed our stay. Nice quiet neighborhood in the forest about 10 or 15 minutes from lake Tahoe. The gas fireplace makes for very cozy evenings. The cabin is dimly lit and dated but functional. Could use some minor maintenance like replacing burnt out light bulbs. Some things to be aware of... No consumables provided. No sugar, coffee creamer, foil, etc. The recliners are old and difficult to operate. Trying to get the footrest back was difficult in the couch recliners and especially in the single recliner. The queen bed in main bedroom squeaks loudly with any movement which interrupted some of our sleep. Over all we enjoyed our stay and we were very grateful for a peaceful fun getaway from our normal routine.

The cabin was super nice. Two things that I didn’t care for was the cable wouldn’t work so we didn’t have tv the whole stay. Also they wanted us to wash our linens but there wasn’t soap.

Nice home for our family
We had a nice time in this home. The space and location was ideal, we were close enough to the town but far enough for some solitude. The outdoor grill handle was broken but we were still able to use it fine. The fireplace was able to heat up the main room but the bedrooms were chilly. There were plenty of blankets to use. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates, bowls and cups. We enjoyed our time here. We may reserve this location again.

Vacasa sucks
Sorry. We were 20 mins early and we couldn't check in. Stupid. Never had this issue just through VRBO. Also $175 to clean? Absolutely ridiculous. I will be declining Vacasa listings from now on.

Cozy Place in Quiet Neighborhood
This place was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. Things to note: There is no AC so if you go up to Lake Tahoe for the summer bring a fan. The kitchen is small, not everyone might fit in the kitchen table. (But it did have everything we needed to cook). Watch out for bears! My nephews left one bag of chips opened in the backseat of my sisters car and a bear broke through the window to get it. There are signs in the house letting you know to close windows and not leave food out, but kids will be kids. Overall, really enjoyed our stay and the house was around 10 mins away from the lake and stores. Would stay again

Check-in process with Vacasa is bogus
Loved the house. Clean and well kept in a quaint and quite neighborhood. I still don't understand why Vacasa made me go into their office to pick up the entrance code.

Wonderful, cozy cabin in Meyers
This is a small yet cozy cabin in Meyers, about 10 minutes South from Lake Tahoe. It's located on a mountain side, at the end of a quiet street. The forest literally starts across the road. I loved the stay - the property even has a good gas grill right on the deck (even though the manager didn't reply to my question). The only (minor) issue was the lack of towels. There were four of us yet we were only given two bath towels. Fortunately it was the height of summer and we brought beach towels. Another issue was the house up the hill where a party went on for two nights. Yet no one can control these things...

Could have been better.
This property is nice on the outside however there were a lot of issues starting with the check in. We were provided the wrong lock box key code, there was actually a back up lock box code but it was not provided. We tried calling the vacation rental office and no one answered the phone for 40 minutes. When I drove back to the office in person I noticed no other customers in the office and no one answering the phone. We also found confetti and left over food from previous guests. Cobwebs behind one of the beds-it was not thoroughly cleaned. The living room T.V is extremely small and the Roku TV is only available in the Masterbedroom. The outside trash recepticals were filled to the brim so we couldn’t empty our trash either. We had to find another place to dump our trash. We received the minimum accommodations and service. I would not recommend my family or friends to stay here. The cost of the cleaning fee is clearly overpriced.

Great place for exploring Tahoe
I hope I can stay here again soon! It was a very comfortable base of operations for four people to warm up by the gas fireplace, cook, eat and sleep between Tahoe adventures. The kitchen equipment is a little sparse, so, as with any rental, take anything special you may need. Check-in at the Vacasa office was fast and easy, and the hosts respond to questions immediately.

It's a quaint cabin for our girl-getaway. We spent most of our time in Tahoe exploring and gambling so it worked out perfectly for just needing a place to sleep.

Very nice cabin, warm and clean. Sleep 8 but there is only 1 bathroom and a small dining table. It was perfect for us because we only had 4 pp. Central location between Sierra ski resort and downtown.

Charming, clean, cozy
Very charming, clean and cozy: lovely wood floors, rugs, leather couches, fireplace, granite counter tops in the kitchen. Not too many knick knacks, just enough tasteful items. Coming home to a electric fireplace was convenient, dried wet gloves after snowboarding quickly. Beds and linens were comfy. LR only has basic cable and a DVD player, so bring any old fav DVDs. Master has Roku. Only request, (since after snowboarding we like to chill at home and prefer to cook) is maybe another large stainless pot, couple stainless skillets and sauce pans. Not fond of teflon. Knives could use a quick swipe on a sharpening stone. For coffee, remember Keurig pods, your own french press, espresso maker or make cowboy coffee. If cooking bring condements, olive oil etc. We got hit by a huge storm so having meals at home was convenient, infact many restaurants were closed due to the storm and traffic. I was concerned about the snow but the snow plow does the main road and my AWD Subaru did just fine. My kids shoveled most of the deck, stairs and drive. We probably could have just shoveled a path, but it was good for them. Growing up in Hawaii, we beat as much snow off our boots outside as possible, placed on an old towel of ours near the door. Maybe a boot tray would be nice to protect the wood from moisture? Thank you so much, we made beautiful family memories.
