"We spent 5 nights at the thatched cottage to use as a home base for day trips to Southern Ireland. It was like stepping back in time but with modern conveniences!! The large farm was peaceful and so much fun to explore. The property was close to Adare for stores and restaurants but yet so private. We did love being visited very day by the two dogs!! Lastly, David was so responsive, helpful and a pleasure to handle everything during the rental. We highly recommend this property."

"We originally booked a 1 bedroom but the night before we got there we were told that wasn’t available and we were being given a different unit. I felt uncomfortable with that at such late notice but the house we were given was much larger and grander. The location was perfect for our stay and travels. The owner was kind and helpful. They have a family farm and were working a lot so we appreciated his time. The views are pretty and it was very peaceful."

"We chose this cottage in the country to experience the local towns, people, the food, & history. We rented a car & used the cottage as base. Each day we drove to a different castle or locale.Even the Cliffs of Moher was a day trip. Roscrea village was close for groceries. Denise & Joe were very friendly, helpful, kind, & wonderful hosts. "A quirky and eclectic house, not the for tall of stature. It's a traditional style of Irish country cottage set in a gorgeous Limerick valley. If you like country living and a break from the mundane, this is a good choice. Watch out for the oil heating bill at the end though."

"The Meadow View Farmhouse was a dream come true. Eamonn was an awesome host. He met us at the house with a wealth of information about the area and even booked us a visit to a local castle viewing. The attention to detail that he has put into refurbishing this old farmhouse is phenomenal. The views surrounding the house were spectacular! We even got to experience a local farmer moving his cattle from one pasture to another on the road in front of the house. A true Irish gem and we will...

"This was a very lovely house, however there was an oil leak with a VERY STRONG ODOR !! This odor gave me a headache. The owner was aware of this problem because her son came over shortly after we arrived, said that they would get someone out to repair it but after 4 nights it was not repaired.. The electric tea kettle had so much red liquid sediment in it I was afraid to use it .. The liquid hand soap dispenser was almost empty in the bathroom. No extra toilet paper was provided."

"Nice facilities, well furnished and well kept. We were very comfortable. Only hitch was no internet in the house so working with a computer was not possible. connectivity for mobile was spotty. But we managed. And we had a comfortable stay. Owner was very nice and helpful. "

Great service and location!

"Great location in Limerick! Our room was almost ready when we got there, very tired from an overseas flight. We only had to wait 20 minutes or so to check in. Lovely staff as well!"
