"Best part was the comfy bed, 🙂 had a good nights sleep. Worse part was the state of the bathroom and bedroom. Needs plenty of TLC in fact it all does. Hotel advertising bar but it was closed on arrival at 2.30pm and after going out to explore Southport, the hotel was in darkness at 9.30pm so no night cap then 😔 but for the price, we got what we paid for "

"Situated within easy walking distance of Lord Street and the town's main attractions, the Bowden Lodge was ideal for my weekend stay. The public rooms - lounge and breakfast room - are spacious and show off the building's character; the single bedroom was modern, very clean and with all the usual facilities.
