"The most idyllic cottage stay, exactly what I was looking for. Ideal location for quiet walks with my dogs in every direction from the cottage, didn't need to take the car out once! Liz was absolutely amazing, gave me some suggestions for local walks and communicated the check in process and cottage location. We will definitely be back. "

"Buckhood cottage had everything needed, clean and functional. The kitchen was a good size with the best view to look at while washing up. Beds were comfy and slept very well. Only issue was the shower, very low pressure and runs scorching hot and freezin cold. Overall a very good stay. Xxx"

"Really enjoyed our time in the property. Very cosy once we had the heating going. Everything you need in the kitchen for a short break and Fiona was incredibly kind leaving eggs, bread and milk for us as well. Super relaxing for us and our dog. "

"The house is great fun. It's a lovely Edwardian home. There are masses of bedrooms, and four sitting areas. So lots of places to get together, and away from each other. The garden is lovely, and the town has lots of things to do, places to eat, walks, a good size co-op, coffee shops, etc. The fire places where lovely. I'd happily go back."

"My sister and I really enjoyed our stay in Kirkmichael. Hannah and Miles were perfect hosts, and the cottage was very clean/cozy and in a very convenient location. We were able to do many day trips to surrounding areas. Great location if you want to visit Pitlochry, Blair Athol, Braemar, and/or other areas within Perthshire. Wonderful hiking trails from the town that vary in length/time that range in difficulty from easy to strenuous. We also highly recommend The Cabin for a meal or two...

"Had a lovely weekend staying at Birnie Cottage. Aileen was great at giving information prior to our arrival and gave us a lovely welcome with scones, butter and jam. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and we were lucky enough to be able to sit out 2 evenings enjoying the sun and the garden. The cottage is in a peaceful location and had the benefit of woods behind it that we could walk our dogs. Although the garden is enclosed it isn't...

"We had a lovely visit to the Servant’s Quarters and would highly recommend it. The apartment was beautifully fitted and had everything we needed. The bedroom was very comfortable and cosy. We even had a jug of milk in the fridge to make our first cup of tea after our tiring journey. Thank you Lyn and Kate for being such kind hosts."

"Pretty detatched cottage with all the comforts of home. Jeannete's fresh farm eggs on the table for us on our arrival. The cottage is set in quiet countryside, yet convenient for exploring the area. A week wasn't really long enough to do everything we wanted! Nice outdoor eating area in our secluded garden. Great for those sunny days when we were able to eat outdoors. "Stayed in this cabin to attend the Highland Games in Braemar. Great cabin. Clean and comfortable. Easy check in and owners/managers were very quick to respond if any queries. Hot tub was great and would be even better in winter. Only suggestion would be some hooks on the back of the bedroom and bathroom doors for hanging towels etc. Definitely recommend. "
