Unfortunately, out of the many daily activities advertised on the website, almost none took place, and the mini club was basically just sitting the children down and make them colour/paint. The swimming pool was always very very busy, and because of the heat, the lake level was very low, it was not very inviting, and no canoe or kayaks were available for hire. First of all, upon “check in” we realized that there is no reception. We met the property managers in the parking lot and they brought us to our apartment. "Wonderdul historic hotel in a very convenient location just steps from the main square in Cortona. Delightful front desk staff that was very helpful. Enjoyed a great breakfast that had everything from scarmbled eggs to breakfast cakes.
We arranged to park our car in their little garage next door at an additional charge. However you need to reserve that in advance and it has just a couple of spaces. Highly recommend this charming hotel."

"I really felt like we were punching above our weight class. The staff was gracious and on top of everything. The food felt like Michellin Star quality and experience. The scenery was breath taking. The wine was even better than that.

"This seems to be a converted villa. Beautifully done. The staff is warm and very accommodating.
Outstanding, really. Our room was very comfortable. King bed, writing desk, table and chairs for in-room dining. Large, well appointed bath and plenty of closet space. The abundant, expertly prepared breakfast each morning was incredible. There’s a happy hour in the evening with snacks and a cash bar. It’s 5 minutes to the flat street with shops and restaurants.
We’ll be visiting them again"
