"Northern lights is right on the strip on the way to Stowe. The free bus runs right by it. You get a free hot breakfast (eggs, sausage, toast, yogurt, granola, fruit, etc). You place an order with whatever you like. Is it a super fancy modern place? No, but it does the job with friendly staff, clean rooms, and a great location. For the price, there’s nothing to complain about. "

"We were booked for the side wing of motel-like rooms and there was an immediate smell of mold in the room. I am allergic to mold. Because we were only staying one night, we were moved to the main building. That room was lovely! Two beds. Spacious room. And a fireplace! Def book the main building! "

We were four in a car so we got free resort parking at stowe, therefore it was far more convenient for us to drive than to take the bus. And in fact most people staying at Talta drove even without the benefit of free carpool parking. The bus stop is right by Talta, but it doesn't come often enough.
