"Very clean accommodations. Small, cozy room with basic amenities. I like that there is one or two staff members always at the front desk, no matter what time it is. The key card is keyed only to your floor for extra security. Location is excellent to the Sensoji temple within a short walking distance and amazing food vendors during the new years week. Free hot/iced coffee drinks in the lobby. Extra amenities are available for a small fee. Good value for its price. "

"You can tell the hotel was quite old but the condition wasn't too shaby given the age. It's clean as you'd expect from most Japanese hotels and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I booked two rooms for six nights and the room for my parents had a blocked drain when we checked in, the staff was able to offer another room straightaway before they can attend to the drain issue. Ryogoku isn't a very popular area with tourists but the hotel is right next to the train station and only two stops...

"I’ve stayed at this property before and enjoy its convenience. The staff at the front desk were very kind and always willing to help. I was surprised that when I did ask the room to be made up it wasn’t done very throughly, some of the garbage was left behind. This location is great because it’s right above a train station of a main connecting line so you can get anywhere quickly. Having Komeda Coffee downstairs as well as a Rox Shopping Mall nearby is extremely convenient too."
