"It's an old family ran motel. The area is sketch, but I felt safe & had no issues during my stay. Only downside, by choice, very limited English speaking by the front desk. "

10/10 Excellent
"Loved this place, very comfortable and not corporate. I had a courtyard room which was very quiet. "
"they had exactly the room available we needed, and it had a microwave. it was so insanely cheap and easy, and the staff were so wonderful! when we visit the bay again we will be staying here again"
"The Rodeway Inn in Alameda is a historic landmark having been in operation since 1965. Take a walk back in time and enjoy Paisley patterns on the curtains and sheets. The Rodeway Inn in Alameda is located in the heart of town right on the main street and is easily walkable with plenty of food options and public transportation nearby. This is a Family owned hotel with an attached restaurant that offers room service and check in 24/7 This is the only place I stay when I am visiting the Bay Area. You cannot beat the good vibes and hospitality of this place oh if these walls could talk they would scream don't listen to any of the nasty reviews this place is old and a faucet may be leaking but you cannot match the old Alameda feel of this place great location, great staff, immaculate vibrations 10/10 and the price is unbeatable "
