"The Fairmont Quasar Istanbul was a great hotel to stay at while I vacationed in Istanbul. The hotel is located off of a busy freeway. If you happen to have a room that faces north like we did, you will hear sirens from emergency vehicles quite often, however Istanbul is a very large busy city, and most hotels that you stay at would be similar. If you can manage, try to get a room facing the south for a fantastic view of the Bosphorus river, and a quieter room experience. "

"I highly recommend this hotel. As another review stated, it looks much better in person than in photos which rarely happens in Türkiye. We travelled for three weeks in Türkiye and tried to keep our accommodation cost on the lower side. This hotel was by far the best we stayed in. The staff are amazing and so helpful. The breakfast is the same every day but it’s lovely. The hotel is newly renovated and clean. It’s a short but steep uphill walk to Taksim. As long as you are in reasonable shape...
