"We had such a great time but first and foremost the house was so clean! I am so picky and stress about staying places, thankfully my expectations were exceeded. The house is quaint, bright and airy with old world charm. The owners have thought of everything to ensure guests are comfortable during their stay. It’s updated and very close to the beach. You can hear the waves from the front porch. I want to mention a few things that may help others who are considering the 4x4 area and this adorable house. This was our first time to the 4x4 area. So in case you have similar questions- the house had a few beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys and boogie boards (all nice, clean, sturdy)- I realize the availability may change as things are broken or lost but as of July 2024 this is what the had. No beach towels so bring those for sure! Now the beach parking passes - the house provides 2 - you have to have these to park on the beach. This was a big question for me as the house sits back from ocean so thank you owners for providing! I personally prefer to book directly from owners (this house is managed by a company) bc the communication seems to be better when I can directly communicate with owners, but overall we created so many memories and that’s the most important aspect for me. Thank you for sharing your beach cottage with us."

"This was the get away we needed. Beautiful home in a sand community by the ocean. Who could.ask for anything better. We loved the open space of this home. Watching the sunset from the top balcony, bbq'd, swam in the pool, relaxed in the hot tub and played a game of pool and of coarse the beach was right there. There is a small park down the road and we got to see wild horses. We had the best time. Kids were exhausted from all the fun and so were the adults. Thank you."
