"It was very good. We enjoyed our stay. All the facilitate were good. Hotel can update the new shower head with better pressure. Osverall it was quiet, bed was comfy. I would definitely stay here again."

"Character hotel bordering miles of countryside. Comfortable large bed on top floor, with good breakfast. had already eaten on arrival so cannot comment on evening meal. Top floor room did have sloping ceiling, but no issue. Plenty of free parking and lovely quiet setting."

"It is such a lovely hotel. It smells just drvine and this was my third stay. The 2nd time in this room actually. Sadly the bathroom floor did have some small flecks of dirt, the bath had rust on and we were unable to get the plug out of the bath. These are such small minor things but are worthy of note. The staff were fabulous as usual. The communal eareas were beautifully decorated for Christmas. And whilst ive already said it it is worthy if a second mention. The hotel smells amazing! "

"Very comfortable hotel. The rooms are large and well kept. We didn't use the restaurant so cannot comment on that, however we did go to the Old Boathouse (which is part of the hotel) and had a very good meal served by friendly and efficient staff."

"What a great hotel, I booked this as a surprise for my wife’s birthday and it didn’t disappoint. It’s such a unique hotel in a great setting, the way the hotel has kept the features of the prison whilst making it a luxury hotel is brilliant. We stayed in the main prison part of the hotel and I would highly recommend it to anyone. We had dinner at the restaurant as well and the food was lovely. All staff were so helpful and friendly. Great location for shopping and to explore beautiful Oxford. "
