"This may be one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. There truly is not enough good things we can say about the place. When we landed in Siem Reap, the hotel provided us with a ride from the airport even though they normally only provided that service for guests staying longer than we had originally booked for. When we arrived we immediately fell in love with the place as it is serenely yet breathtakingly beautiful; with warm wood and cool stone blended in a way that made us feel like we were in a modern luxury hotel while still remaining true to its Cambodian roots. However, despite the gorgeous decor, excellent amenities, and excellently sized and furnished rooms, the most delightful thing about the resort is its staff. From the front doormen, to the receptionists and housekeeping staff, every single encounter we had with one of the staff members made us feel like we were truly welcomed guests and that they were actually happy to have us stay with them. We came away from every single encounter happier and feeling a sense of awe and gratefulness that we have never gotten from any other resort experience, even at other fabulous places we have stayed in the past. We loved it so much that we extended our stay by 2 days and found things to do in Siem Reap (which was easy as there is so much around the area that is worth staying for), just so we could stay at the resort longer. We are sad we are leaving and worried that the rest of hotels on our trip will disappoint us."

"The lobby and rooms were impeccably clean, setting a warm and welcoming tone when you walk in. The staff at Sokha are outstanding—always smiling, welcoming, and eager to assist with any needs. Special mention to Mr. Sambom and Mr. Saroven, who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Mr. Sambom was very pleasant to chat with and gave us a fun tour around the facility in the resort’s "Rolls Royce" golf cart. Overall, Sokha Siem Reap Resort is an excellent choice for anyone looking for exceptional service, a clean and comfortable hotel. We highly recommend it!"

"The staff were so pleasant and helpful with bookings and room service, the art work made for a beautiful warm atmosphere, the menu showed off the local cuisine and everything was seriously delicious, I got a really good traditional massage, I liked that the area was quiet and set in the north near the temples. Honestly, the whole experience was great from start to finish. I’d recommend to anyone. Thanks to all the wonderful staff. You were great!"

"Templation is a wonderfully maintained boutique hotel very conveniently situated for visitors to Angkor Wat -- it is just 4 km (2.5 miles) from the main temple. We found the staff to be extremely hospitable, arranging tuk tuks and bicycle rentals rapidly and for reasonable rates. A bicycle ride to the temples of Angkor Wat and Bayon is very easy and highly recommended, as is Hotel Templation as well. It is a pricier option than many others in Siem Reap, but the convenience and comfort made it worth the splurge in my family's opinion. "
