Building is a bit dated but it’s kept clean and tidy with well equipped cooking facilities. Bathroom is spacious (spa bath unit). TV, WiFi all worked well. we walked to supermarket where the restaurant area in less than 15 minutes through a park. We had a lovely stay.

Staff didn't seem particularly interested in being helpful, did not give even the slightest overview. The kitchen was poorly equipped, e.g. no frying pan, strainer, bowls, sharp knife, or wooden spoon. The place was very spacious and clean. I found the bed comfy. TV with Netflix. I think you can expect more given the rate.

The property is cost effective, and the manager Stephanie was excellent to deal with. The rooms are average but are cost effective. But I really enjoyed the warm floor in the bathroom, and the spa bath. They have a little kitchenette with the necessary pots and pans etc to cook a nice breakfast. The outside tub is just the greatest. It is timber and heated by an attached fireplace. There was nothing like going for a long walk and then coming back to sit in the hot tub. Rain, hail or shine the hot tub was the greatest. Just the right size for two to be cozy. Special mention to the owner Nigel who also runs a Tesla trip for 1-3 people to the Milford Sounds. Very exclusive trip and it sure beats joining a bus trip. You must buy the picnic hamper. The hamper is 2nd to none and includes high quality picnic, tasty items.

Very accessible and quiet accommodation in spacious unit with parking outside door. Close to main shopping and restaurant area. Friendly welcome and useful advice from reception. A few maintenance issues were reported.

Nice place with friendly staff. It does have some rough spots but is clean, comfortable, well equipped and pretty quiet. We at no time were concerned about our security/safety but if you have concerns (such as traveling alone) just be aware that some of the windows would need to be kept closed/locked.
