"I had a great stay at Cocoon. The hotel is very convenient to the train station, which is the main reason i chose it, and about a 20 minute walk to Alstadt. There aren't a lot of restaurants in the immediate vicinity but there are a few, or plan to eat in Old Town before returning. The room was very comfortable and i like the sustainability. I added the breakfast one morning and it was well worth it. Really liked that they had a water station to refill your water bottle. As long as you are okay...

"Excellent hotel! The staff could not be more friendly and helpful. The room was by far the best we enjoyed on our 22 day journey across Europe. The room was spacious, the AC made the room very comfortable and the shower was outstanding. This was our first stay at Hotel Stein but definitely won’t be the last. Hotel location is across the river from Old town but walkable in 10-15 mins. Mirabellplatz (gardens) just across the road. Convenient for pickup for sound of music tour. Lovely roof top bar next door. Breakfast was very relaxed and selection was as expected. An enjoyable stay. "
