"Prince Rupert House is a very beautiful house on a country estate. It has an outdoor pool which our grandchildren loved. Also croquet, tennis court and lots of walks. We had no issues with the house … it slept 10 comfortably and would accommodate 12. Great place to go and relax. 25 minutes from York and 30 minutes from Harrogate. All in all a lovely time together as a family. No complains at all. I can heartily recommended this place. They also have smaller properties too."

"Absolutely fabulous place to stay! Exactly as described with everything you need for a break away. Hot tub was a great touch in wonderful little garden with lights. So clean and a pleasure to stay there. Lovely little touch with welcome basket on arrival. Would highly recommended!"

"An escape amongst nature. Very quiet , apart from the birdsong beautiful to hear. Cottage was very well appointed , cosy and comfortable. Directions were very clear, even though the cottage was well out of the way. Every morning we saw the hares playing in the fields, we also made the most of the walks around the farmland. A beautiful place to recharge the batteries , while still not far from lots of places to visit, Castle Howard was very close by."

"Easy check in, we made simple dinners both evenings of our stay and had all needed kitchen items - very clean. Very easy walk into the walls and York Minster. As is clearly noted in the listing, the only toilet is on ground floor, and all beds are up some typically steep Victorian stairs."

"Such beautiful accommodation which had everything we needed. The layout was perfect for us and having the pool table and the assortment of games was great. The bonus of a sauna was great! The grounds were lovely with the sheep and Beebee the alpaca who was really entertaining. The woods were beautiful for a wander and we even managed to see the owl. Thank you for a perfect week."

"Artist cottage was a comfortable well furnished and clean property. It was within walking distance of Harrogate and handy for visiting surrounding area. There is a railway line to rear but it wasn't intrusive. Our only concern was the extremely steep wooden stair to bedrooms and with the bathroom being on the ground floor, this was not ideal. So, I would say not for the older guest or anyone with walking difficulties. "

"We loved this house. It was beautifully set up with excellent amenities. We loved the cinema room and especially enjoyed watching the rugby on the big screen! Location is great with an easy 15 minute walk into town. Highly recommend."

"Was in a great location however it didn’t say that it was an end terrace with a path at the running the length of the house. Also it didn’t mention that there were steep slippery steps to get on to the rear garden which again was just a slab and deck area which wasn’t a garden as such. Living area very small and if at full occupancy wouldn’t be able to fit everyone in. TV & internet not great and had to keep refreshing to get connection. Could do with a bit of TLC. Cheaply done throughout with...
