"Charming cottage. Clearly a well loved family home. Clean and cheerful with a homely feel. Has everything needed for a short or long stay. Bob and Jackie are wonderful hosts. Very generous and helpful in responding to our requests: they persevered with communicating despite the frustratingly poor telecommunication coverage in the area. We - our grandkids, their parents and ourselves - were very comfortable in the house and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.. Would be very happy to stay there again. "

"Excellent family getaway - one of the most generous appointed accommodations where one didn't have to bring the kitchen sink. Am used to having to pack one's own basics like salt, pepper, olive oil, washing stuff, laundry stuff, paper towels - but all of that was generously provided. Ian also provides bikes, golf clubs and boogie boards! Only thing missing was coffee machine (we couldnt figure out how to make the one there work) - so my only suggestion would be to BYO coffee plunger. Comfortable...

"Brown carpet and furniture has absorbed years of cigarette smoke, which hits you in the face on opening the door. Dirt, dust, hair visible on and under bunk beds. Kitchen cabinet doors fell off. Dirty dishes in cabinets. Dead and live cockroaches aplenty. Outside deck was lovely."

"We spent 5 days in Tuross Heads but we could have lingered longer! Ideally situated the accommodation was extremely well appointed and comfortable and there was plenty to do in and around the area. We enjoyed a thoroughly peaceful break a short travel time from home."

"When we arrived the house smelt mouldy and I had to vacuum up all of the spider webs so my kids would go in the rooms Blinds were missing and the windows were so dirty we couldn’t see out of them There was no hot tub even though one was advertised The dog next door barked constantly and we had to dispose of previous groups rubbish…."

"Spent the week down in Narooma for a bday with all the family. Really nice house with plenty of room. Close enough to most things but always a drive but not a problem. There were a few small maintenance issues dishwasher didn’t work and it wasn’t able to be repaired till after our stay once again not terrible but with a big group washing up each day took time out of the day that could be out at the beach or doing activites. When we arrived screenshot doors were off the hinges and just left...

"This house was ideal for our family, which included small children. It's the best child friendly home we have ever stayed in, with all necessary precautions taken by the owners. The house was beautifully presented and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is perfectly stocked. Would definitely stay again."

"Don't let the outside of the house deceive you, inside everything's been re-done. Brand new kitchen and bathrooms. All soft-close drawers. Very clean inside. Lots of space. Other than regular 3 x queen beds and 2 x single beds, two more people can sleep on the fold-flat futon and additional inflatable mattress.1 min walk to café to get your morning coffee and 5 min walk to the beach.We had a wonderful stay! :) "

"The view is stunning 180 degree ocean views just across the road. It is well equipped and fit our family of 7 comfortably. Large kitchen for entertaining, a wrap around deck to take in the views and the master bedroom was huge with a large ensuite. A downside was the ensuite was open to the bedroom which we found very strange and not very useable if you want to shower or use the toilet in private! Also the large skylights in the bedroom didn't allow for sleep ins unfortunately as the sun...

Full of interesting artifacts, artworks and books- the owners clearly expect to have interesting and interested people come to stay. The 33 (I think it was) steps and the steep drive keep us fit. "The accommodation was as described and ver clean. We did notice that the dining chairs had lost their support and were very sagging. Unfortunately during our stay the living room curtain rail fell to the floor. This was due to its age and a number of broken brackets. Management was very prompt in attending but the curtains could not be put back up. "
