I wasn’t aware of any renovations and although it was a little strange how the set up was, I was extremely impressed with the amazing customer service! I travel for work so I wasn’t affected by the fact the office was in a hotel room, however, breakfast was still offered and my room was very clean. So under the circumstances, I would definitely stay again, with renovations and all!

Great location and friendly staff. Lobby is being completely refurbished so was taken aback when I walked in. Should be finished shortly. Rooms were lovely and clean. Would definitely stay again.

This property is under construction and there is no mention of this on Expedia. The check in desk is a guest room which is also where you get your "breakfast" which is a frozen Jimmy Dean sandwich, a packaged pastry, granola bar and a brown banana or a coupon to wienerschnitzel. The bathroom floor in my room was covered in both human hair and dog hair and there was dog kibble on the floor. There was no hot water in the sink and there was no shower curtain in the bathroom so the floor was like a pool when I got out of the shower. There were food crumbs on the floor in the living area so it obviously had not been vacuumed either. VERY disappointing, especially since the location is great.

Horrible experience!!! Booked the hot tub room, filled up tub and jets didnt work. And no where did it staye it was under construction so no breakfast like it mentions on website. Gave passes to weinerschnitzel, disgusting!!! They wouldnt even discount oir room to the standard room price. So very disappointed!!!

This property, although undergoing construction, was the cleanest and most taken care of property I have had the joy of staying in for some time. It is underestimated for sure. No jacuzzi and no pool but beach within walking and access to most anything a person could want for a vacation or business trip .

Ok for a night. The property is under renovation. The bed was pretty hard and there strange unpleasant smells coming from the AC unit. We opened the window and it was a little noisy due to being next to the freeway. Probably wouldn’t stay again.

Nice Stay
While the Comfort in is going thru renovations. The rooms are clean and we were not at all affected by the construction. Yes the staff are located in a hotel rooom but they were very friendly and helpful. It is a 4 minute drive to the pier and easy to get in and out of. Would stay there again.

Recommending the Marriott across the street!
The hotel was under construction, the hallways were extremely hot and humid. We had to walk through the building to find a small room where the registration desk was. We were offered a sack breakfast or Wienerschnitzel coupons for breakfast. The first day we got the sack breakfast, the breakfast sandwiches were nasty. The second day, we just asked for an apple granola bar and apple juice. When we were leaving, we packed all of our stuff up on a cart and the elevators wouldn’t work. We had to make several trips which were hard on my husband because he is Handicapped. I recommended this hotel to my daughter and to my friends who were coming for my daughters wedding. All of us were disappointed, and frankly, I was embarrassed for recommending it.

Arrived in this property and the lobby door was closed and dark as if the hotel is permanently closed. There were small signs for “entrance” which lead to the back entrance of the rooms. Yes, they were undergoing renovations, but on the courtesy call the day before asking if we were arriving, they did not say they were renovating. So let’s get past the registration (which happened in a make shift office in one of the hotel rooms). When we got to our room, our sink was clogged and there are no countertop space in the bathroom. They told us that the plumber cannot come at that time (7pm) and will arrive tomorrow. We have a wedding rehearsal that night and a wedding to go to the following day, and there’s no way we were going to share a bathroom between the 3 of us with a clogged sink. I feel bad for the workers that night as they were trying so hard to answer questions from all of the disappointed customers coming in. Glad we were able to book another hotel and Expedia customer service help the following day, assisted me to get my money back! If it weren’t for that- this wedding weekend would have been tagged as a nightmare. Saying no to Uncomfort Inn Suites next time.
