"Had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage. We all had such a good time. "

"Our family (2 daughters, 3 grandsons 8-23) had a super week on Varty Lake. The Cottage is very comfortable and the two rooms were good for young & older. Kitchen well equipped. Lots of supplies, towels etc. Having the canoe, kayak, paddleboat, two paddle boards was amazing and all were used and enjoyed. Biking along the roads & Cataraqui trail was great. Swimming was good. Games room was enjoyed by the younger boys/young men. Mo was excellent in communicating with us, before and during our stay....

"We absolutely loved our time at this cottage. The property was spacious and clean. View was absolutely breathtaking. We travelled with four adults and four children ranging from six to fourteen and a dog. We found the cottage clean and fully equipped. We loved the guests drinks in the fridge ready to welcome us. Bed linen and towels were well organized and clean. There were lots of games and movies for everyone to enjoy as well as an abundance of water equipment we all enjoyed all weekend....

"We very much enjoyed our stay. The hosts are wonderful - friendly, flexible, accommodating, great communication. Cozy, comfortable cottage, with everything ready for a fun time. We appreciated having access to a few different boats, as well as the library and games room. The lake is beautiful, with a charming little town nearby. The water was very calm when we were there, and we saw a ton of fish jumping. There are other cottages close by on the property, which limits privacy somewhat."

"This cottage is a perfect location to enjoy nature and go slow. The lakefront area is perfect for a bonfire night and enjoy the sound of water and falling leaves. The cottage is very clean and updated - you have everything for your kitchen, ample space for two small families. The owner is very prompt in his responses and helped us in sending back the items we left in the cottage. The listing was accurate and we will definitely recommend our friends if they want to book a cottage."

"Trust your GPS! The winding road to the cottage will get you there! Our adult family of 7 enjoyed our stay at Gabriel’s cottage. The hammocks were perfect for all sizes and we used the hot tub, volleyball net and fire pit often. As advertised there is no oven but the “baking bbq” did its job just fine. The hill to the lake is steep but once you make it down the lake is beautiful. Beds were clean and comfortable. My suggestion to the host is to make a few minor modifications for the perfect...

"Stayed for (4) nights in the Fall (Thanksgiving Weekend). We were three adults and two children. The cottage was so well equipped for preparing the Turkey dinner. "We spent the first week of July at this property, and it did not disappoint! The cottage is a nice mix of rustic and modern, and has everything you could possibly need. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were all comfortable and the living space was perfect for hanging out and watching a movie. What really makes this property are all the different outdoor spaces. The upper deck was ideal for morning coffee and after dinner lounging.
