"This small cottage is in a great location, literally a couple of minutes walk into the centre of town, but tucked away in a quiet cobbled side street. Although there is no parking at the cottage, the Little Rodee carpark is about 5 minutes walk away. The cottage was clean and welcoming and had a great quirky charm which we really liked. "The owner had doulbe booked this property on Vrbo and another major booking platform (think BnB). No arrival details were provided to us before hand but we turned up to the address anyway and attempted to ring the host's contact number...no answer. We knocked on the door to find other guests already staying there who had booked it the other major booking platform and who had been in contact with the host (named John) all day. This disastrous start to the trip left us frantically looking for...

"Lovely quiet location, beautiful gardens. Our son loved the tree ladders! Beautiful views from the decked areas and of course the hot tub topped it all off. Great communication from the owner paul. We'll definitely be back for another chilled weekend. "

"The property was a great base for a short stay in Chester for a family of 5. We were no more than 15 minutes from some of the notable local attractions and amenities. The house itself suited our needs and was in a quiet neighbourhood. The house and rooms were of ample size to accommodate 2 adults and 3 children (all under 13)."

"The property inside was ok. However, having bathroom flooring on the walls of the bathroom is a bit bizarre. The area is not a good area and parking is not allowed in the secure parking, just on a side road."

"The location of this property is amazing if you are headed to a game at Anfield as it’s a super quick walk to the stadium & very convenient. Around the area there is a lot of food, grocery stores, bars, etc. Quick walk to the bus stop. Layout of the property is interesting, as it’s like an old apartment building that’s been converted into a house. Each bedroom had a heavy door that automatically closed so it felt more like a bunch of separate properties vs one whole place. The beds in each room...

"Property well located for access to Anfield and Goodison. Guaranteed street parking on match day is nice (well, permit). It is multilevel so be aware of that (and the stairs were a bit steep for my 80 yr old mom ,but she managed). Only thing we would have liked flto see different was the heat to be turned on the day we were arriving since the house was quite cold and took til the morning to warm up (we arrived at night). But would recommend to friends."

"The host was very helpful and friendly. The place is comfortable and had everything we needed. I knew there were stairs but didn't realize they would be as steep as they are, which was only noticed because i recently injured my leg. The entry stoop was unexpectedly high and both of us tripp on it. But everything else was fine and very convenient to bus line, stores and parks. Im glad we stayed there!"
