"Modern, very comfortable studio unit. Excellent supply of bathroom necessities, including shower cap. Darker makeup flannel, always appreciated. Kitchenette with good supply of utensils, S&P, cooking oil, Plunger coffee and range of teas. Sadly, we didn't have enough spare time to use the pool, but wish we had. Even though the Lodge is on a very busy main road, we couldn't hear the traffic noise. Would definitely stay here again. No shops, cafes or restaurants within walking distance, but didn't feel that was a problem."

"Great stay, my only comment would be the switch to turn the light off was behind the curtains at the front door! Minor problem I just like to be able to turn the lights of from the bed! Like I say, just a minor thing for me!"

"Stayed overnight on 2 separate days for only the nights due to the time frame of my itinerary. The management staff were lovely, very helpful and accommodating due to my late checkin times. Only had the opportunity of visiting 2 attractions in Whangarei. Loved every minute. Would like to see more if I come to New Zealand for another holiday. "
