"We had a very good welcome when we arrived late due to a wedding we were attending. Quick and efficient check-in. Rooms were generally good, although the shower had signs of orange bacteria and some black mould on the ceiling. The bottom of the shower door and sealant around it was tatty and looked dirty, so much so that I didn’t want to use it. "It was in a good central location in easy walking distance of Shifnal if you wanted to eat elsewhere. We had a room in one of the cottages which was very nice and quiet, as it was away from the main function rooms in the hotel. "Arrived Saturday afternoon for the usual two night stay. Receptionist welcoming, friendly and quick to book are party in Spotless, with all the necessary amenities needed. The only problem was the meal in the restaurant that evening was well below standard, food was just warm and the fish approx 25%fish 75 oily batter. Highly recommend this hotel.
