"Property was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Shame the parking area was so small as not much surrounding parking where you can park without a permit. All in all a fantastic stay though "

"we stayed here on new years eve from 31st Dec - 2nd Jan. during our stay there was an issue on the night of 31st Dec whereby the power to the property completely tripped out and would not come back on.we rang the emergency number and the caller advised we should check the fuse box and trip switches, which i did, this would not work. he also advised to turn large electrical items off which i did but again the power would not come back on.The emergency contact was not in a position to come to the property to help us nor did they have any other support for our situation. the only final advice was to look for another property. as it was 9.30pm on new years eve this was not possible for me, my wife and my 7 year old. we were left that night with no electricity, meaning no lights, no heating, no power to charge phones, we were all quite worried, it was pitch black and we had no other option than to go to bed and try and look for another property in the morning. we also had food in the fridge which perished, and we had no hot water for a shower or a bath.To be left in that situation in the dark and cold with no means of help or support was unacceptable.once the power did come back on the next day we were terrified that it would go off again and we would be left in the same situation. This had an impact on our whole trip. I have since tried to contact the owner on numerous occasions but they havent responded. i would strongly advise anyone to reconsider staying here."

"Very comfortable overnight stay, welcoming owner on arrival, very friendly service at breakfast and a lovely tasty breakfast with lots of options to choose from, will definitely stay again if in the area and would recommend."

"- The kitchen was very convenient and included most cooking equipment although the grill/microwave was a little difficult to understand - Amazing environment, quite lively at times but did not affect noise levels due to soundproof walls. A big plus! - Bed was very comfortable and the lodge had lots of storage space which we liked. - Water pressure and temperature of shower was a little low but did not impact experiment too much - Smooth communication and information provided prior to coming to Goodstay Lodges Overall an amazing accommodation! "Lovely flat, lovely view over the bay and the sea. Everything you need in the flat to make your stay enjoyable. The bed was comfortable but missing slats which meant if you sat on it wrong would fall through. Comfy sofa bed with linen. I would recommend and would stay here again. Owners on hand if you need help. Thank you for a lovely stay xxx "
