"Hamilton Island is a beautiful place to visit. The island is small, and the free shuttle around it is useful. It is a pricey destination, but the room is very nice. The room is fully equipped with a kitchen so if you would want to get provisions before arriving to cut down on costs a bit, you certainly could. We had a short stay, so we did not get a chance to visit all the beaches, but did enjoy the ones we did. Loved seeing the wallabies, parrots, bats, and cockatoos that roam freely on the island. The snorkeling off Catseye beach was decent, I’d recommend going far out if you are a confident swimmer. There are also pools, ping pong, bowling , and free use of non motorized equipment at the beach ( only saw kayaks, but they probably had other things, we snorkeled so didn’t use them) All in all very nice for a short stay. For a long stay I would pick Airlie Beach as you have more options on things to do."

"Palm Bay Resort, located in the stunning Whitsundays on Long Island, offers surreal views and a peaceful atmosphere. I recently spent 7 days there with my son and loved the convenient location, just a 15-minute water taxi ride from Airlie Beach. While the serene setting is perfect for relaxation, the lack of activities on the island made it less engaging for my active teenager. The food was excellent, but I was disappointed that housekeeping wasn’t done daily. This resort has great potential to become a top destination if the villas were refurbished and more activities were introduced to enhance the guest experience."

"On arrival we were greeted by our friendly valet,Dean who gave us instructions on our buggy use and showed us some highlights of Hamilton Island on the way to our accomodation. We had access to a buggy the whole stay which was perfect to get around and oh so easy to use. Our accomodation was wonderful with AMAZING views. Good amenities, such as oven, microwave, TV, access to streaming avenues and BBQ also very comfortable with air conditioning and big couch. We had use of a pool which seemed to be ours most of the stay And was lovely and clean An easy walk to shops and a fairly quiet street, spacious veranda with outdoor setting and banana lounges. Glenn our host was very communicative and accomodating from the start. If needed he was available to call and was friendly and helpful. Would reccomend staying here, especially for families with teens because they can walk to the hub of the streets easy. from the stat. "

"We didn’t realise until we arrived how big the Reef View Hotel was. We had a lovely, spacious and comfortable room. The bathroom was very large too, with double sinks, a bath and shower. It was really convenient to have the shuttle for the ferry and to the airport. The Reef View was also a stopping point for the Island Shuttle and made getting around really easy. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious. It was maybe just a blip but our first lunch in the restaurant wasn’t the best customer service experience - it took some time to get served and I had to speak to the host to request service. There afterwards it was fine."

"Loved that they include rides around the island as you need and airport transfers. Decent breakfast included and chocolate every night placed on my bed. Great place - would stay again."
