"We stayed in a luxury tent LTC1 near the road. I was worried about road noise, but some earplugs at night solved everything. My husband and I had a great time, waking up to the sound of birds chirping every morning, we saw so many different kinds. The whole property was very well manicured like a desert garden. Loved the ability to grill. I would highly recommend!"

"It is the oldest private game preserve, and it shows. Wrinkled pictures in frames filled with dead bugs, the yard needs a serious clean. That being said the bar/dinner area is quite lovely. Game drive vehicles are ancient. (One hour drive is R450, which seems really steep). I stayed at one of the ‘chalets’. As basic as it gets. Room was large clean & comfortable, the garden & terrace a real oasis & dinner was delicious! And only a ten minute transfer to the airport (at5am) with the genial owner. "Very comfortable rooms in a stylish complex set in a secure compound. There is a dining courtyard beside the adjacent Mercure Hotel which is a pleasant place to sit and relax. The hotel is a little inconveniently located, though, and you'd need a car or to take taxis to get into the city centre. Also, be aware that it is not beside the main international airport, but next to a domestic terminal catering to Cessnas and the like.
