"I booked Hotel Etambi last minute not doing enough research of Windhoek beforehand. It’s further out of the city (not to far but far enough) andnisnt in a great neighborhood. When I arrived (late at night) the property owner greeted me with a half desire to check me in. She told me it wasn’t safe to have my windows open at night even though it’s in a gated compound. For the first 20 mins I couldn’t find the AC remote and it was 100 degrees, it took me 10 doorbell rings for the owner to hear and...

"We stayed in a luxury tent LTC1 near the road. I was worried about road noise, but some earplugs at night solved everything. My husband and I had a great time, waking up to the sound of birds chirping every morning, we saw so many different kinds. The whole property was very well manicured like a desert garden. Loved the ability to grill. I would highly recommend!"

The lodge is really a place one can go just to relax for two or three days. I took game driving about was not really satisfied as we did not see many animals but the driver was really good and have a best customer service one could offer. "
