the hosts are lovely people, very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is very convenient for travel, sightseeing and city centre. The breakfast was excellent including a very good selection of fruit and cereal as well as the full english. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this guesthouse because it offered rooms suitable for families with children. The room and amenities were comfortable, and the delicious breakfast made us feel truly welcomed. My children were especially delighted with the bunk beds. We would love to stay there again if we have the opportunity.

What a lovely little guest house within walking distance to York city centre. Danielle was a lovely host who made sure everything was in order for us. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the fact that parking is included makes this place good value for money. The only thing worth noting is that the loft room is up 3 sets of stairs (the last one being a little steep) so bear that in mind if you have luggage or if you plan on doing the climb up the York Cathedral Tower tour (like we did!) Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful little B&B with very friendly staff and a cute Apple theme. The decor is a little outdated, but it's clean with comfortable beds. Walking distance from the train station and a short walk into town, it's great if you're looking for a budget friendly option to crash in after exploring York all day.

Danielle has designed a fantastic, welcoming atmosphere at The Apple House. She and her staff made sure we had what we needed during our stay - directions & sight seeing suggestions included. Very lovely, cosy stay. The owners are very kind and welcoming and a great place to stay for a short getaway. The breakfast was also very nice and I was able to get a vegetarian option.
