If you ever need us - we are always available on the messenger! We also live in Yosemite West so we can help you in person with anything! We will be happy to have you with us in the heart of Yosemite!

Texts and Calls are only second best - here is why: The cellular phone reception in Yosemite West is limited to Verizon. There are pockets of reception when travelling in Yosemite and there is more reception in the valley. When using the messenger you know right away that the message was sent and we are getting notifications in several ways: in the app, on the email and text (thanks technology!) - so we know you are looking for us. Once we see your message - we will address it right away!

If you decide to call, please text us first. Please text your name and check in date so we can find your booking and we will call you back on that number.

Our park is big. You will need a car. Yet you can get to all the major nature wonders in under half an hour of relaxing drive!

For Wawona (25 min) and Giant Sequoias (30 min) - exit Yosemite West and take right on hwy 41
For Tunnel View (20 min) and Yosemite Valley (25 min) - exit Yosemite West and take left on hwy 41
For Badger Pass Ski and Snow Park (20 min) and Glacier Point (25 min)- exit Yosemite West and take left on hwy 41, take right on the next junction

Governor Newsom's Executive Order N-33-20 and associated guidance of the California Public Health Officer, continue to apply statewide. These advise Californians to avoid travelling long distances for vacations or pleasure as much as possible. This is to slow the spread of the coronavirus. Do no travel if you are sick, or if someone in your household had had coronavirus in the last two weeks. Do not travel with someone who is sick.

AT THE GATE:
All vehicles entering Yosemite National Park will be required to pay the park entrance fee. Upon showing proof of your reservation and a matching photo ID at the entrance station, you will be issued a vehicle permit to enter the park.

TRANSPORTATION:
There are no shuttle buses (Yarts) in Yosemite West. The closest stop for Yarts is in the valley and in Wawona. There are no Uber, Lift or taxi as well. As of today valley free shuttles are disabled.

Don't forget your GROCERIES!
The last stops for groceries are in Oakhurst (Hwy. 41), Mariposa (Hwy. 140), Oakdale (Hwy. 120 from Modesto) and Lee Vining (Hwy. 120 from the eastern approach to the Park - SUMMER ONLY !!!). There are two small markets approximately 25 minutes travel time from here, but are less reasonable and have a more limited selection (confirmed open and working starting June 13, 2020).

ROAD CLOSURE:
Please, be sure to call 1-800-427-ROAD (California Roads) and 1-209-372-O2OO (Yosemite National Park Roads) for most updated road conditions.

CHAINS:
IMPORTANT! In winter, EVEN WHEN THE ROADS ARE CLEAR AND THE SKIES ARE BLUE, it is mandatory that you carry tire chains in your car, EVEN FOR 4-WHEEL-DRIVE VEHICLES. If you do not have them, and you encounter an inspection roadblock, you will be turned back to buy chains before you will be allowed to proceed. Chains are often required on roads both inside and outside of Yosemite from November through March, less often in October and April, and rarely in September or May. Winter driving restrictions are enforced in Yosemite!

Weather: snow, rain, ice and wind may happen, yet Yosemite gets mostly stable and beautiful weather

Kitchenette: mini fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine are provided.
BBQ grill with Side Burner for cooking is available right outside on your deck.

Mobile Communication: In Yosemite West you will have reception for Verizon and Sprint only. ATT will not work, unless you are in the valley.

Internet: WiFi is slow and free data is limited to 300MByte/device/24hours. You can buy more data for couple of dollars. Consider to bring Verizon JetPack (or use your Verizon phone hotspot) for cellular internet

Entertainment: 65' TV with Dish Satellite High Definition choice of channels. Service can be interrupted (ie snow on the dish). Consider to download your content when home on your laptop and connect it to our SmartTV through HDMI.

Cooling/Heating: There is no AC in our home. The heating is central - send a message to adjust. In addition - The fireplace in the studio can be used for ambiance and heating

Stairs: Yosemite West is 6000 feet elevation mountain village built on a hillside. Our home enjoys beautiful forest and filtered mountain views. One of the natural downsides is climbing the stairs and our home is not an exception. Your suite is on the upper floor and it takes two and half flights of stairs to get to your private deck and front door.

Wonderful condo
This condo was well appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed the deck watching the sunset. Communication from and with the owners was very easy and the unit was so very clean, something I truly appreciate.

Amazing
This property was wonderful. I believe they have remodeled because the photos are not up to date. The unit had a nice living space with fireplace, clean small kitchen area and large TV and couch. The fridge was stocked with goodies for breakfast and the wine was amazing. The bedroom area and bath are all newly remodeled, clean and spacious. The bed and sheets/comforter were so soft and comfortable after a long day of exploring. There was an outdoor swing and grill area that allowed for pretty sunsets. Very quiet neighborhood in Yosemite and parking and check in was a breeze. Very responsive hosts for our entire stay. Will stay here every time we visit Yosemite. Central to Yosemite Valley and Mariposa Grove. Can’t say enough about this rental.

Great location, super hosts!
My husband and I made a quick stop through Yosemite for two nights and could not have asked for a better experience! The location is great, about a 30 minute drive to Yosemite Village, very clean, well stocked, and the hosts go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. I've had some great stays and hosts, but never the top notch communication I received during our stay. I highly recommend YoBee properties!

I really enjoyed staying at this location. The property was easy to find given the hosts' instructions. It was no problem getting into the studio. I had everything I needed there. It was very nice to have the snacks, breakfast, and bottle of wine. I spent a bit of time reading out on the deck while watching the sunset. The property was only 17 minutes away from my trailhead in Yosemite Valley, but without the traffic, crowds, and construction in the Valley, so it was about as good as it gets. I really appreciated that there was air conditioning, an Apple TV, a coffee maker (although I didn't use it, it is usually important to me), and ample locations to recharge my devices. I even noticed that they had bear spray under the sink, just in case there was a large furry visitor. Excellent experience. Perfect for what I needed. Thank you!

Road Trip
When I first saw this listing, I wasn't sold on the condo idea, however we wanted to stay in the park. I was so surprised with this property on how cozy it felt and how secluded we felt, even with tenants above us. In my opinion the pictures do not do it justice! All the amenities you may need! Very much recommend this great property!

Lovely Yosemite getaway
Beautiful cozy getaway and very close to the valley floor and inside the park. Just a few minutes to Glacier Point Road. No place nearby to eat but there is a hood sized fridge and freezer, outdoor bbq, and microwave. There is some construction ongoing on the adjacent lot with music and some noise but not terrible. We appreciated the thought ful touches including the bottle of wine and the snacks they left for us.
