The renovation was beautifully done.
We had no internet service for the final 2 days - after first beingvtoldcthere was no problem, the manager later explained they were upgrading their system.
I would have loved some environmental awareness such as recycling bins or pitchers of water, etc.
A coffee maker and refrigerator in the room would have been nice since its such an expensive neighborhood. "
"The hotel is unique in decor. It is older, but very clean and antique decor. I loved it. We were pleasantly surprised to get a larger room. Very close to Central Park and Museum across the street. Also subway is close. We walked to the theatre district for a play.
I was so happy to find that cleaning staff found my wallet. I had left it in the safe and staff had given it to the office. What a huge relief!! Nice to know we do have some decent honest people in this world!!

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small, but that might be expected for New York. It was my first time there, so I’m not quite sure. I like the location. It was close to two subway stops and Central Park and the natural history Museum."
