"Everything about inside the hotel was good the only thing that wasn`t in line with the interior was the exterior and the car park both of these need to be refurbished and then the place would be nice right throughout. "We booked about 30 minutes before arrival. Then were very happy to be given an upgrade. Receptionist was very helpful and loaded with or persuaded the restaurant to let us book in for 8.45. Very busy for a Tuesday night. The upgraded room could have been lovely but unfortunately had a very strong smell of smoke. We also noticed many marks up the walls. Still a comfortable room though. "

"Our Christmas stay at the Welcombe Hotel was a nice break. The mansion is stunning, set in 157 acres of beautiful grounds, and if you’re lucky, you might even spot deer roaming around. The spa was good to have—the indoor pool, Swedish sauna, and outdoor vitality pool made for a nice way to unwind, and the thermal rooms were a nice touch.
