"Beautiful property and inside/outside onsen. Splurge for the (9 course!) set dinner and breakfast option - we got lucky and were assigned a private room to enjoy the elegance. A wonderful place to stay in a wonderful town!"

"旅館の場所は、正直分かりにくく、急な坂の真ん中にあるため車で向かう際はかなり気をつけた方が良さそうです。 ただ、駐車場にいる男性がとても分かりやすく誘導してくださったので、車高の低い車でも難なく駐車することができとても助かりました。 多少の古さはありますがそれがまた良い雰囲気を醸し出し、落ち着きます。露天風呂の苔は、人のよって受け入れられないかもしれません。 お食事は2食ありました。 味は全体的にやや甘めに感じましたが美味しかったです。お米が一粒一粒立っている感じが良かったです。夕食は18:00過ぎ、朝食は8:00にいただき、時間が空いていましたが空腹を感じることのない量です。 石段までの間に色々なお店があり、楽しめます。また、2次元で町おこしをされており、こちらも楽しめました。"

"国民宿舎タイプの宿泊施設で、建物自体は古い感じがところどころに伺えるが、お風呂の蛇口を除いて快適に維持されている。利用した4人用の和室も快適なもの。食堂で供される朝食は、小鉢が多く満足できた。 部屋、温泉、食堂からの浅間山の眺望は素晴らしい。 場所は、小諸駅から川を挟んだ反対側という場所は眺望が良い分、車利用なら問題ないが、駅からの歩きは厳しいかもしれない。 小諸周辺に滞在する場合、また利用したい。"

"The outdoor private onsen is amazing. Staff with limited English but willing to help. The booking system for the private onsen is based on first come first serve, no reservation ahead so you have to keep calling front desk to check for availability....that needs to be changed. Other than that, I'd recommend it to those who enjoy traditional Japanese Ryokan."
