"Hotel a little old, but comfortable and in a quiet area outside the center, but a 30-minute walk there or tram option on the corner. I made a reservation for a couple and a 14-year-old teenager and even so, the room only had one bed for 3 people. They charged me 40 dollars a night for an extra bed, which in my opinion should have already been included"

"This is an excellent choice for the traveller who values budget options. Only a couple of hundred metres walk from Southern Cross Station in Melbourne with access to all trains and Airport Skybus. Great cafes and dining options in same street. Hotel is secure with card access needed for lifts and rooms. Room was of ample size, bed is comfortable with good pillows supplied. Room was clean and shower very hot. Need to able to climb up over edge of bath into shower with handrail in place. Building...

"This was a great central place to stay within walking/tram distance to shops and attractions. It was clean and a great place to stay for the basics. House keeping were efficient and cleaned up relatively well. Staff were friendly. It wasn’t excellent (or 10/10) but I would recommend for a basic stay. "

"Pro: Very close to CBD, with nearby shops and tram stop at front door. Very reasonably priced. Cons: Elevator/s (2) are terrible in the morning and afternoon you can wait up to 10 min before one shows up with enough room to get in (During our stay only one worked). The adjoining apartment had a very large dog which lept up on the railings and barked whenever you went onto the balcony."

"One that offers privacy where you can do your business and showers. A lot of hostels have common showers, but this alone takes the win if your too shy to do the number 2 in an open setting. Definitely recommend staying here. "
