"The location was very convenient and within walking distance to many attractions. The subway was just a few minutes walk away too. There is no luggage storage available but there’s one at the Ekimise department store or you can use the lockers at Asakusa station. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable for our family of 4. Highly recommend!"

"Location was great, about a 5 min walk to Ueno station and the nearby Ameyoko shopping street. The hotel is a bit more hidden, on a quiet street behind the Apa Hotel. Our room had a kitchenette but was smaller. The ad said a dining table would be included but we only had a desk so it was difficult for our family to eat in the room. The front carpeted foyer smelt a bit like mold. The bathroom and toilet were separate rooms which was handy, and they were clean. Be aware not to switch off the hot...

"Great stay at Calm Asakusa. Best things about property was the location, so close to Asakusa station and other sights including restaurants, shopping and of course Kaminarimon Gate & Sensoji Temple. The property itself was very clean & quiet. Having a washing machine was very handy. Bathroom had all the bells and whistles and water temperature & pressure were excellent. We were staying there as a family of four with two kids and found it quite tight as the day bed could really only fit one...

"The hotel was amazing and in a great location, got to experience alot of Asakusa and was fortunate to be there for the Samaba festival. And the staff was amazing also had some unfortunate family matters arise and had to make some changes regarding my trip and they were very helpful and understanding and very expedite with helping will gladly stay again"

"We booked this hotel for 9 nights in total. In short, we enjoyed every bit of our stay for many reasons - the responsiveness of communication; easy access (e.g. self check-in, hotel rules & user guide info); cleanliness; location of the hotel (not to mention that million dollar view!) and everything one would look for in a 2 bedroom apartment hotel in Tokyo. The only downside is, it does not have an elevator so if you travel with many luggage climbing up 5th floor on stairs could be challenging....

"Room 102 was very clean and the layout was great for our group. Distance to Skytree and Oshiage station were convenient. Other than text messages for check in, there was no further communication or contact with staff. Wash machine is small, but worked great during our stay. Drying clothes was challenging for us. Only complaint was an unpleasant oder emminating from the bathroom at times, but that would not stop us from staying here again. "

"Nice property with more room than the average hotel. Everything was clean. The bathroom was nice because it had a bath tub and shower. The bed was the old school spring box. It was comfy enough. The bidet was great. It's walking distance to a temple, but far away from everything else. It's located in the historical geisha row and some "bath" houses are still in business. A commute to Harajuku was almost an hr travel time, and Ginza was about 40 min. The closest train station was a 12 min walk....
