"A very cool place to stay. A great spot for a younger crowd. Only note is that on the 3rd and 4th floors you can hear any time a neighbor runs a shower or flushes a toilet. It did wake us all up periodically throughout the night. But very friendly staff, clean, and perfect location! "

"The hotel was doing some refurbishment when I arrived. But it was finished the next day. The room was spacious and had a nice view north. The location was perfect. Close to everything in River North. The one thing I noted was thin walls. I could hear most everything in the next room. It’s an older hotel so that could be expected. The bed was comfy. I loved the bath products. They smelled very nice. Overall a very solid choice for the price!"

"Our stay was fantastic rooms were nice size closets refrigerator. Love the old Nostalgia of all the old timers who played and sang at the Empire dining room. Very close to all the activities restaurants Michigan Avenue it was great only thing and I guess that's typical of Chicago Downtown parking not provided except for valet $80 a day ridiculous or down the street $55 a day in and out okay of the parking in addition to that they charge $25 plus tax a day some kind of fee for what I don't know...
