"One Barcelona is a fantastic hotel. The staff is quite accommodating, personable and kind. This was my first trip to Barcelona and must admit that this was the very best choice for a hotel. "Stayed here to position ourselves for easy access to Barcelona airport for our flight the following day using the hotel's complimentary shuttle service. The hotel was nice inside and the staff was exceptional. Our room was very warm and the cooling system was only blowing warm air despite setting the temperature at the lower limit of 19 degrees (it was 24 degrees in the room and we opened the window to cool it down to no effect). "The hotel is very clean, breakfast was great and hotel security is great. The area around the hotel is not nice. Lots of beggars, homeless and junkies. Warned by tour manager not to go to certain areas and the cab drivers I used warned me about the area. "
