"We were delighted to arrive to the Litli Geysir only to find out we were upgraded to the beautiful Hotel Geysir right next-door. We were not told the reason, but we certainly appreciated it. Our room was cozy and comfortable. We especially loved the shower. We had dinner at the Hotel Geysir, which turned to be as expensive as a one nights stay in a hotel. $200 is pricey to have to send my fish dinner back to the kitchen because it was cold when it was served. Otherwise, we had a lovely stay....

"The staff was really nice. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfasr buffet was really good. I really liked the service they offer, if you would like to see the northern lights, the staff will go knock on your door to let you know so you go outiside. "This is a very quiet property, and each "little house" is set so that you have privacy. The interior is very small - perfect for a couple or a couple with a small child - but we did end up putting our suitcases back in the car so we'd have a little more floor space. Check-in (and out) was easy. The house has a great view of the valley. We were hoping for clear night skies (which we did not have, but definitely not an issue of the property. "Another amazing house and stay for our entire family; children, adults and seniors. The views from the house are something else and the private geo thermal pool absolutely the best. Enjoyed it an entire day while taking a break from sight seeing as windy -4C gave us that excuse. We were blessed with seeing the Aurora every night from the pool - indescribable amazing experience! "We started our Iceland holiday with first 2 nights stay at cabin 5A. I’m glad we did as it set the bar really high and at the end of our 9 day trip, the family unanimously agreed this was our favourite accommodation in the entire trip! Cabin had everything we needed, extremely clean, hosts were v responsive, and being in open lands (yet near enough to nearby towns), we were treated to 2 nights of auroras when we were there!! Zum Einchecken brauchten wir den Chat von Expedia, weil wir nicht in das Haus kamen. Das hat dann aber doch alles wunderbar funktioniert und der Vermieter hat sich sofort bei uns gemeldet.
