Used to be a beautiful hotel a longtime ago. Unfortunately the owner left it un-maintained. Still could be with remodeling. Great location, nice and quiet. I wish I didn’t have to leave such a bad review, but truly the hotel was run down. The room I was in had exposed electrical with no outlet or switch cover. The elevator was not working and had not work for a long time. The room I was in the floor had holes and was uneven. None of the jacuzzi there were 2 didn’t work at all. Stay away, I don’t know how they got such a high rating on the platform. If I could unload pictures I would. There was also ants in the bedroom, on the bed, the balcony door didn’t lock, No tv in the bedroom, no microwave, no coffee or coffee maker. Limited menu at the restaurant. Like the staff there said the owner was too busy and no longer was interested in this once beautiful hotel. I hope that they take this review seriously and make the investment to remodel the hotel. The lobby is truly beautiful, with a great view. Sorry for the bad review, unfortunately it is the truth.

Este lugar esta excelente desde donde está localizado, en una delas playas mas bonitas de Cancun. La Area donde esta situado es excelente y muy segura. Lo mejor del hotel es el servicio y lo que mas recomiendo es la comida es muy rica y pregunten por Oscar ya que es el mesero y el les brindara un excelente servicio ya sea en la alberca terraza o el personal mente les lleva su comida a su recamara. I like the location, proximity to the beach, the price, the security, it was quiet and relaxing. I didn't like that the shower didn't work and the tub was unusable, and the walls were falling apart.

- Really poor maintenance hotel. - Main entrance pavers with holes and uneven. - Entrance full of cats - Holes in the ceiling and walls. - Sliding doors hardly open. - Locked windows. - Inoperable Elevator. Need to take a two floor spiral staircase with the luggage. - Inoperable and dirty Jacuzzi. - Disgusting and dirty showers with mold. Need to take shower with sandals. - Hot water limited . Every single day we ended taking cold showers. - Uncomfortable mattress and hard pillows . - One remote control for both rooms splitters. - Outlets with no plates and electrical cables hanging representing a hazard. - Limited kitchenette: no microwave, dirty Refrigerator with mold. Not enough to keep an ice cream solid. - Slow and ntermittent Internet The positive side of the staying is the location, Beach access’s and pool. The hospitality service and amicability

We had taken a red eye. We arrived at 9:30am and were given a room, which we were grateful for! The Diamante (Diamond) garden view room was about 40 steps to the pool and then stairs to the ocean. The people were friendly. The beach was a bit choppy, but we jumped the waves. We felt safe walking to Soriana at 10 pm. We loved all the kitties, too-no bugs etc.

Stay away. Avoid at all cost. Only becaus of cost location, you may fall prey to this hotel. Unfortunately, I booked 5 nights stay and left in 1. ISSUES (Also shared with front desk and you will find in this and all other reviews of this hotel): - Old and rusted, cheap and bad infra. - With family, not even a chance to stay. - only because of location, god knows why the owner is not upgrading it. - Found ants in room, bed, table. - Bathtub in balcony was broken, rusted and useless. - Faced water problem in morning, our day tour plan ruined because of that. - Obscene and naked photos (large and huge) are in the lobby, including the statues and few scary ones as well. - There is this negative vibe as soon as you enter. - Now I know why its usually empty. Read in comments and witnessed, you will barely find a couple of guest, I bet not staying for more than a day or 2. Suggestion: If you want a cost effective hotel, go for Residence Inn by Marriott at the south end of hotel zone. Using taxi (uber / didi) is worth it to reach any place in hotel zone. Experience: Do not book for more than 1 night even if you plan to take a chance. I bet it will be available if you like and plan to extend. I had to pay penalty of 1 night charge extra for cancellations (even after their problems of water and dirt) Recommendation: Not at all recommended.

I recently stayed at [Hotel Name], and unfortunately, it was a very unpleasant experience. The building itself felt extremely old and in dire need of maintenance. The first impression was disappointing, with peeling paint, creaky floors, and outdated décor that looked like it hadn't been updated in decades. The room I was assigned had a musty smell, and the furniture was worn out and uncomfortable. The bathroom was no better, with chipped tiles and a shower that barely worked. It was difficult to get a good night’s sleep due to the thin walls and the noise from the street outside. It seemed like no effort was made to maintain the basic facilities, and it was evident that the hotel hadn’t been properly cared for in years. The staff were polite but not very helpful in addressing the issues. When I mentioned my concerns, there was no effort to resolve them or even offer an alternative solution. The hidden fees left me feeling incredibly frustrated and misled. When I booked my stay, the price seemed reasonable, but once I checked in, I was hit with unexpected additional charges that I had no prior knowledge of. that wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the booking process. Then, To make matters worse, the hotel staff didn’t seem apologetic or willing to explain why these fees were necessary. I felt taken advantage of, and it really detracted from the overall experience. I understand that some hotels charge extra fees, but the lack of transparency at this hotel was completely unaccep

The worst stay experience ever in hotel zone area. The facility was outdated, with old pictures along with non family friendly statue of women. The room was clean and big. Unfortunately the back sliding door to did not lock, A/C had smell mold when turned on, toilet flooded, shower door did not block water from everywhere. The walk way to rest of bathroom was wet afterwards.The sunken in jacuzzi tub did not work inside room nor the tub outside in patio. Even worse, I paid in advance for one night stay. When I attempted to check out from the facility, they tried to overcharge me for four night stay. Had to get Expedia representative to step in to help, even after I showed my receipt. Not a place to recommend but to avoid at all cost.

We really enjoyed our time in Casa Turquesa, all the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Building is old, but a lot more beautiful than the ones around, a truly hidden jewel! We will be back!

This is an older property that is very basic and shows it's age. It's very affordable, clean, and comfortable. The location is excellent with many shopping options and the beach is very clean and beautiful. For the price and location you can't beat it. You have to weigh all the factors.
