"This property is absolutely gorgeous. I was worried about the openness of the floor plan but felt very safe during our stay. The beach is walking distance. There’s a kayak you’re free to use. My kids had a blast with it. There are shops and restaurants within a 10 minute drive. I will most definitely book this place again in the future. Only downfall is that there are tons of birds that are always looking for food. Keep your stuff put up. We learned the hard way. "

"Area is nice and scenic. When we got there, there was a huge dead cockroach taking a swim in the warer. We asked management to clean the pool and it took forever. Also, i wish they had air conditioning in the living area. It was so hot. The only place that they had a/c were the bedrooms. The other issue is that you are alotted only a certain amount of electricity during your stay. If you go over, you have to pay. Mke sure you turn your lights and ac off when you leave. "

"The time spend was quite relaxing, the accommodations allowed my girlfriend and I to take a much needed reset. I highly recommend Villa Sur Mer to those who seek accommodations outside of normal hotel stays on the west end. "

"It was AMAZING! Treated us like family, Kevin was great! We will definitely be back. I recommend for all types of travelers, the pool was great. They even came to clean it during our stay. Everything was less than 9 minutes away. They only have taxis & they accept cash only. Taxis were no more than $15, a little pricey but it’s ARUBA! BOOK IT!!! "

"This is a pretty place. Easy to get away. The room was very nice and the common area around the small pool was pretty (get your mosquito spray out). Luckily, I found the place on my own. 2 taxi drivers were lost trying to get there. As well, I stumbled onto and into the room; I finally was able to call someone and 45 minutes later, a nice lady, Luz, showed up to say hi. Good that I was in the correct room. "The house was well equipped and comfortable with plenty of gathering space for our family. The deck, pool area and dock were all nice spaces with spectactular views. We enjoyed watching the sunrise and sipping coffee overlooking the sound. We had a maintenance issue with the pool, but property manager and maintence man addressed it immediately. We truly enjoyed our stay and are thankful to have made wonderful memories on Chalk Sound."
