"My Australian friend & his wife were on a short tour of England and I thought an English country side and Cottage stay would be ideal. This Jasmine Cottage is the perfect choice with a blend of period architecture & modern facilities. We loved it. I booked it through VRBO and I had direct contact with the host Krysle who has been very responsive from the beginning through to the end of the stay. The cottage was incredibly clean and all the facilities & provision of items are well thought out....

"The house itself is nice but when we arrived there was a lot of rubbish around the house. The kitchen lacked glasses, cutlery, pots and pans. We bought glasses ourselves and the rest was brought after two days. The WiFi was not working and consequently the TV didn't go either. A new WiFi was dropped at the house after five (!) days which we installed ourselves but the TV still didn't work. At one day somebody stood in front of the house and wanted to show it to somebody who was interested to buy...

"Stayed as a large family for a long weekend. The grandchildren loved the garden. The main house was great, the weather was perfect so we mainly used the kitchen and outside garden dining table. All four bedrooms in the main house are bright and well furnished. The bedrooms in the annexe are more basic but fine for just sleeping in. The host was always available and responded to the couple of queries we had immediately."

"The cottage is warm and comfortable and its proximity to Bourton a definite plus. The only reason I put good instead of excellent is because the beds are not king sized as listed (as far as an American king - perhaps UK sizing is different) and although a dryer is listed as an amenity, there is only a washer w/ drying line"
