"Beautiful views. Nice restaurant with limited menu. They ran out of free, filtered water half way thru and did not replace. We went during San Jose holiday and there were ridiculous amounts of very loud fireworks going off all times of the day. Worst was late at night and 6AM!! May want to avoid this. Bathroom had no ventilation, so after a shower it stayed moist a long time. Otherwise, good value, beautiful scenery. "

"We didn’t have electricity or wifi or hot water for the first half of the trip. It came back after that but was definitely an inconvenience. "We arrived just after 10pm, when the garage closed only moments before. The staff was still present and re-opened it for us. We used the covered gated parking area. The hotel is centrally located for Mazatenango proper. How water, fresh towels, soaps, and a complementary bottle of water were waiting for us. The area is safe and secure. There is a nice wall unit a/c which cranked out some super cold air. Next time I am in the area, I plan to stay at this hotel!"

"It is set out as a Luxury apartment but can't really qualify as such. It is nice, but quite noisy as it is right next to a restaurant with live music. Also quite smelly from all the restaurants' grey water just flowing into the lake outside the windows. The bathroom is also very damp with mold on the walls.
