"We absolutely loved this place! The yurts exceeded our expectations (which were high). They were spacious, beautifully furnished and decorated, extremely clean, and SO comfortable! The couches, beds, and pillows were so soft and cozy. Best night’s sleep we’ve ever had on vacation. The location was very private and quiet and beautiful. A perfect get-away. John was very friendly and nice and easy to work with. He was available to answer any question or help in any way needed. We only wish we had stayed longer. Will definitely come back next time we visit this island. This place is a gem. "
"What a beautiful home overlooking the ocean. You see local fishermen late at night and early morning fishing off the cliffs surrounding the house. Lots of beautiful decorative touches in the house and lots of ocean exposure. Much has been done to maintain the house against the salt corrosion. Peaceful place far from town to relax"
"The pictures of the house are accurate but it’s the views while enjoying the front porch that are so special. The cool breeze in a hot day keeps the temperature comfortable. "This was our first time vacationing on The Big Island after many years of visiting Oahu, Kauai and Maui. This island and THIS HOUSE were worth the wait!!! We have absolutely loved our stay enjoying the amazing view, pool, deck, house and VIBES. Dan was a wonderful host, great communication. We explored a little every day, but mainly spent time here CHILLING. So grateful, and already planning to come back! Mahalo!!!"
"This entire experience was nothing short of amazing. At first I was apprehensive to live completely off the grid but after staying here I would definitely do it again. When we first arrived the host met us, gave us an entire tour of his property, including his beautiful animals as well as explaining what it’s like to live off grid. Made us feel right at home as if we had been friends a long time. The home was cozy, it does get a little cold so be prepared. The grill and fire pit was a nice touch in the evening. We only stayed one night and wish we had stayed longer. "

"Beautiful & peaceful location on the big island away from the busier areas. Our host was very welcoming and always made sure we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed falling asleep to the sounds of a crackling fire every night. Large house with everything we needed and a very unique private yard setting."
